Heart Love - Womb Wisdom

FROM MY JOURNAL 28th January 2025

You pour your love into my heart like molten lava from a cosmic volcano. You fill my heart with the fire of your love so my heart becomes fire too. Then your love cascades out of my heart, burning towards the world, towards life, to offer the same gift of fire to others. I don't offer any gift. You offer yourself through me.

Your gift in the beginning is love, which you give in the form of fire encased in the petals of a rose and which you bury deep in our hearts. Like a seed encased in its husk that one day awakens and breaks free of the husk to grow down into the soil of the earth, and up towards the sun – when the time comes, in the same way, you knock on the door of our heart to let us know it is time for the fire inside to awaken, for the petals to fall open and the inner fire to grow. It is time for us to begin a new type of growing – beyond and above our body, into our spirit, into the ground of our being and towards the light of life.

In the same way, you as Sophia, give us the gift of your wisdom in the form of holy water, which you place hidden in our womb like an underground spring. When the time comes, you prompt the waters of wisdom to rise, like a beautiful stream flowing out of a mountainside. The water begins to flow, filling up as a well inside us, an inner reservoir, an inner pool, into which we drop the bucket of our mind, our psyche, and our soul, to learn new ways, to learn wisdom ways, to learn your ways.

In time, the water rises so high in our womb that our waters break and wisdom flows. In time, the fire in our heart explodes and burns away everything in us that is not-love. The fire ignites as the waters break. One tames the other. Fire burns on the water. The water contains the fire. The human being becomes a cup to hold the living flame of love and the living streams of wisdom. Fire and water flow into each other, cascading in a life giving eruption of joy. All suffering is now placed in the fire for refining into love and is soothed in the cool waters of wisdom. Fire and water live in a tension inside us, balancing each other's wild energies, holding an energy field for our daily lives.

We call on the fire for love, we call on the water for wisdom. These are the energies of spirit and of life. These hold our spiritual self, our true self, our divine self.

How do we know we are made to be divine? Because the fire of love burns in our hearts and the waters of wisdom rise in our wombs. Once the father knocks on the door of our heart and the mother initiates the waters to flow in our womb, our true life has begun.

Sadly, not many people hear the knock or feel the water rising in the womb space. The fire is there, just waiting to ignite; the water ready to flow. But without our understanding and acceptance of these energies and gifts, we cannot begin our spiritual journey into our divinity. We cannot begin our journey home to love.

Fire burns in our heart, our head, our body, and our mind. We explode without being burnt. Water rises as deep intuition. We fall into the pool without drowning. Our innate wisdom now gives us the answers to our deepest questions, points the way, offers direction, helps us find our way.

Fire and water

Water courses establish themselves in our inner life. Rivers flow, wells fill, and we dive into the deep when we need answers to deep questions. Fire burns a path in our hearts, our bodies, our mind, refining our thoughts and action, our way of being, until our actions, thoughts, ideas, and being flow from the fire itself, refined into love. Fire and water shape our spirit into its true essence: fire and water, wisdom and love.

How fire burns on water is a mystery.

How the womb waters kindle the fire is a mystery.

Life is a mystery.

Love is a mystery.

Only living inside the mystery is life giving for the second half of life. Anything else is not living at all. It’s a charade, a masquerade, a façade, a fiction we tell ourselves as a distraction from the reality of not being truly alive at all.

May the fire rage. May he be tempered by water.

May the waters flood. May she be contained by the fire.

I am fire

I am water

I am spirit

I am life

I am wisdom

I am love

I am alive.
